I've always loved getting lost or finding a place that I can be completely anonymous. A place that nobody knows me and where I won't run into anybody I need to make small talk with.
With that thought in mind, I'm really looking forward to my camping trip out East. Although I'll end up meeting up with Fred/Michelle/Dylan and few days later, I'll really enjoy a couple days of nothing but taking photographs and checking out a new place.
My first plan consisted of a long drive to the Bruce Peninsula, 2 days of walking/driving around to different waterfalls and boardwalks and rock formations, followed by a 5 hour drive to Sandbanks to meet up with Fred and family. After looking a little more closely, I realized what killed my idea was the 5 hour drive, so I decided I'd head to the Thousand Islands, Fort Henry, and a couple of bird sanctuaries out Kingston way. I may even get ambitious and go to Ottawa ...we'll see, but it cuts my drive to around an hour to get to Sandbanks.
