March of the Penquins

Quack Quack ..... oh wait that's a duck:)
Tthe few people that read this blog will never have heard of this flick, too bad!
If you are a Tom Cruise fan, or a fan of movies with lots of T&A, maybe you just don't get the reason to pay $10 to see a documentary. I'll tell you I'm more than happy to spend my money on this beautiful film, just don't expect lots of special effects or bad acting, you'll see neither here.
This movie is about the life cycle of penquins in Antarctica. It takes you from the long journey, through the immense cold(-60 plus wind chill at points) of winter, to the birthing of a new baby and all of the journy's in between.
It almost seems that I'm understating how great this film is. Most movies have people talkng, slurping drinks, and young children acting up, I saw none of that in this movie. Everybody was enthralled by the beauty(and harshness) of Antarctica, the grace and elegance of the penquins, and the incredible love they show for their unborn child.
For most people this will either end up being a "renter", or a "I'll wait till it's on satallite, I was more than happy to spend my money and see this "on the big screen", to each there own!
